The Ugly Duckling

Our last night in Fuerteventura and the long awaited meal at the Danish restaurant. Food was good but portions were huge. Anyone who knows me will know that I eat well but I struggled with my main. It would have lasted me for three days at home. The owner said the Germans and the Scandinavians have big appetites!!!

It was a restaurant that encouraged tables to talk to one another so we spent a pleasant time chatting to a Norwegian nurse and her English husband who had been a doctor in Sweden all his professional life. Lovely evening!
