DIY Resumed

You might see a TV on a wall with Hugh Edwards telling us about something related to the Prime Minister but I see a milestone passed. We bought this to replace the bulky traditional style TV that was in this corner (you can see the fixings for the bracket still on the wall as I can’t figure out how to remove them yet) and I installed the new bracket and TV.

Big deal you may ask but this is the first time that I have felt up to doing any DIY since my first surgery back in March. Indeed for most of that time, I have been banned from undertaking such work as it involved a bit of stretching and carrying a power drill, which was deemed too heavy to even carry, far less operate.

I have decided though that if I am to try to get back to normal, I need to feel normal and that includes doing jobs like this around the house.
