Calderglen Country Park

We took a drive out today to Calderglen Country Park. What a great place! We walked along the river and Mum showed me a waterfall. It made me gasp! There were lots of dogs swimming in the river, which I found very funny. And lots of boys and girls playing in the adventure playground - I'm too little to go in there just yet.

But the best bit was the children's zoo. I was quite taken with this pond and little waterfall, even though there was nothing in the pond. I was saying "hiya flower" to the little plants around the edge. I had a great time trying to pick up all the little stones. And we saw so many interesting things - colourful fish, colourful birds, a monkey, a snake, a bearded dragon, meerkats, guinea pigs, rabbits, wallabies... but the Egyptian tortoise wouldn't come out and say hello.

And as if that wasn't enough for one day, Auntie Katie and Uncle Scott took me to the swing park as well. I said "one two three wheeeee" as I went down the slide.

Time to go to sleep now after all that excitment!
