Remembrance

11.11 a special day for thoughts of years gone by and the sacrifices made.
After work I went and took a couple of shots around the castle area and went for this shot of a poppy wreath on a doorway at the side of the castle grounds. Today marks the day when we remember that thousands of soldiers gave their lives fighting for freedom and peace.
During the silence at 11.00 i found myself thinking about my Dad as today is also the anniversary of his dads death my Granddad and he died when i was just over a year old so never knew him.

Any way in other news just a quick blip as im getting ready to go on course in Birmingham for 2 days so will catch up on my return
