Rescue

First confession; this was taken with my brother' Alan's phone. While he (the brother)was walking his dog this morning the dog discovered this little fellow. He had somehow scrambled up onto the grass but was stranded. probably exhausted. The birds had been pecking at him and he had a number of cuts on his body. Alan thinks he may have been there since yesterday morning as the dog had been trying to show him something then. We managed to get him into a blanket sling and from there into the cat's (very big) carry cage. Alan took him into Ullapool to a lady who's a bit of an expert in rescuing animals. She gave him some antibiotics and with her contacts she arranged for the RSPCA to pick him up. As far as we know he'll be taken to Dunfermline. I hope it will be a happy ending.
