A day for remembrance

And a lovely way to show it. This tree is at Miniman's school. A beautiful tree of remembrance poppies made by the children. He came home telling me how the red of the poppies represented the blood shed in battle in WW 1 and how the soldiers returned to find their battlegrounds were fields of poppies after the war. So nice to know they talked about our history at school and did just a bit more too.
