Remember

This memorial booklet was found in a little case of papers that belonged to my grandfather. I'm not sure how he came to have it, as he was not linked to the Salvation Army. He would have been about 18 at the time of this service, so perhaps it was something he attended to remember friends/colleagues who had fallen. Certainly, it listed many local men from areas such as Leyton, Poplar, Romford, Stratford, Walthamstow & Ilford to name a few.

It's quite amazing to think this little booklet is nearly 100 years old.
