An Englishman, Irishman and Scotsman

Did a bit around the house this morning while J went over to Callander to do some open water swimming with someone we met on the Iceland trip.
Managed to watch final practice before heading into town to meet up with IB and JD to go and watch the Scotland v Argentina rugby match. Had a couple of pints on the way to the ground. We had ticket behind the goal which Scotland were attacking in the first half. I even managed to put a Scotland T-shirt on I was given a few years ago by LR. Didn’t hurt too much. Got the words for Flower of Scotland wrong. They don’t sing the second verse. I’m sure that just to confuse the non natives.
Turned out to be a good match even if the second half was a bit boring as most of the action was down the other end of the pitch. Not sure it will be so good next weekend when New Zealand are up.
Had a walk back into town and had another pint before going home via the chippy.
Watched qualifying when I got back but fell asleep before Q2.
