Reflections

This morning I really did not want to get up and do work, so instead I did a few hours of reading in bed. The girls then headed to our first match of Hockey Cuppers and despite a disappointing few weeks and a distinct lack of wins under our belts (none...), we beat Magdalen 8-2! Absolutely smashed it, very very proud of the girls. We are a majority fresher team as well so it's exciting to see what we might potentially develop into once we're used to playing together (and in my case playing hockey at all!).

Saw this walking back from the hockey with Anna and Sioned, and so glad we bumped into somebody from college or we wouldn't have stopped. I had seen it a few days ago meeting some friends at Brasenose but the sunshine and autumn colours today were beautiful.

We were back to college in time for welfare tea, though that was probably because of it being welfare weekend and it was running for longer, so I headed for a hot chocolate and a biscuit to take with me to the library.
