Drinking tea...

...is all today has been fit for, though the weather doesn't seem to have been a hindrance to the Armistice Day services - so many people out paying their respects. The poppies round the tower look magnificent - such a simple idea, but what a statement they make.
We have drunk so much tea today that I thought I would blip one of the many forays into the kitchen - another one of the "my life in x objects" series... The lovely old fashioned t-cosy and t-pot come from Auntie Peggy's. Tea must always be made in a pot, and she always used this one when we visited her at home. She's in her 90s now, so is one of the few survivors of the Second World War years. Sadly she's not doing so well at the moment, but we're off to see her soon.
