The Cat's Meow

Sophie decided the best way to make it into the house was to somehow get hurt. This evening when I went to feed her she wouldn't get off her chair, when I looked there was something wrong with her mouth and although she tried to eat she couldn't manage it. I put a blanket on her but as it got colder we decided to bring her into my office. She wasn't keen at first but is now settled down on her chair. We did see some blood on the back paw, her nose and muzzle are scraped up. Will look her over properly in the morning. Not sure if something attacked and dragged her or if she had a run in with a car.

Tuesday a.m. update.
She ate the food we left for her this morning, she's purring and nuzzling her mouth into my hand which I don't think she'd do if her jaw was broken. She's still a bit unsteady, can't figure out where the blood came from. Abbey is not happy now that she is banned from my office.
