Backblip: Not the most obtuse entry into the name that show competition!

Minor excitement as the company stage manager, who I was proxying for until 2pm, couldn't leave the Channel Islands due to a plane on fire at Southampton. Cue plan B. Luckily there actually was a plan B. And C and D. We're DSMs at heart whatever the role we're doing. So no stress for me and they (the sound tech was with her) arrived before the tech started. Unfortunately all the planning in the world hadn't stopped them getting stressed. I think the cuppa worked and the tech was fine.

It's going to be a great show.
