this time of year, one thing is for sure...sprinklers on mean summer is here!! (nearly) All those years as a kid - hot afternoons or school days under the sprinkler to cool off.

Just after I took this & went back inside a magpie was out bathing - I didn't get a photo as i didn't want to disturb him.

It may not technically be summer, but this weekends heatwave definitely made it feel like the warmer weather is on the way ....yippee...
The bonsai shelf may not be ideal this summer - it does get a tad hot on the window sill, but the zucchini's are flowering & the mint is blooming. However without insects or bees, I think I'm going to struggle to get any sort of 'crop' :(
