Off to lock up the cows

Famerboy and Son T - off to lock up the cows in their paddock after milking late this afternoon.

The weather turned rough tonight. Rain and a sudden drop in temperature. It's just about dark outside (8.40pm), and we can see a light dusting of snow on Mount Newton. That's not good. Our maize is just popping its head through the ground, and if we have any frosts, that will be our entire crop finished. *sad face*. Thousands of dollars gone.

Son C has just sat his 2nd NCEA exam today - 3 to go. It all seems to be going well, which is very positive. We are lucky to have such dedicated teachers at our school, that give up their time for extra exam preparation. They are lucky kids.
