Remembrance

Remembrance Day for WW1. 100 years on and the impact has been profound.My grandfather fought for the last 2 years and was injured, losing the use of his arm. When he came back he married my grandmother, but he couldn't overcome the trauma and the marriage didn't survive. He left when my mother was 5 and she never saw nor heard from him again. Now it would be diagnosed as post traumatic stress disorder I'm sure, but not so back then.
