Museum Monday

We went to the Ringling Museum of Art this morning, arriving when it opened...10 a.m.

Priceless works of art, set on a nice chunk of real estate called Sarasota Bay.

I was going to post a statue, but kept coming back to this outside veranda. Not my typical shot, but I liked the lines and shadows.

We then went to the latest shopping mall in this area, a double decker. It is anchored by Macys, Saks 5th Avenue, and Dilliards. It is a snazzy place. I did poke my head into a store called the Crate and Barrel. I was tempted to buy one thing, a small set of measuring spoons. I said small. Instead of tablespoons and teaspoons, it had 3 spoons...labeled a pinch, a dash, and a smidgen. In the end...I decided it was just TOO cute to buy.
