Buddha

The dPS challenge for followers this week is 'brown'. The week is rapidly slipping by with nothing interesting presenting itself in that colour that I could use for a Blip.

This morning I gazed at my little wooden Buddha, and decided to try for a portrait.

This wee statue is quite special for me. I obtained him at a Monastery I visited with my son some years ago, as a memento of a special time we had together. It sits in a quiet place in my lounge and I find it a very calming presence.
