Working the skies

0730 and already they're on their way offshore with another load of passengers.

How many hundreds of thousands of people must we move in a year - I'll have to find out. It's strange to think of all this activity that most of the UK know nothing about - and yet the process of getting oil out of the ground and back on shore is almost as complex as going to the moon.

Working the skies.... makes me feel almost proud, until I realise that in theory I am part of the process that is destroying the planet we live on!
