Progress

30 stripes of lovely autumn colour. The blanket is coming along nicely. Really enjoying it, though need to keep changing how I hold the yarn as my hand aches like crazy! It's getting quite snugly on my lap now though :)

Went to d's parents evening tonight. He's settled in well and made lots of friends but they can't figure out how to tear him away from the model making area. All he wants to do is build things and draw all day. No surprise there then! We're compromising by encouraging one special model per day then try other things, which can all be themed around his ideas but involve a bit more writing, maths and reading... We shall see. He's already planned out the first one for tomorrow!
