Happy Birthday!

Cake isn't just for birthdays...

...it's for blipping!

The Man had a birthday today. I had made some muffins yesterday but we ate quite a few of them and I wanted to try and improve on them. I got all the stuff out again today but I had used up the raspberries so these ones have to be strawberry flavoured.

I wonder how that will work.

We did our lodge cleaning in the morning followed by hospital visiting in the afternoon. That left the late afternoon and early evening for having fun with the flour while we waited for the Lamb Henrys to finish their long cook and the medley of mixed root vegetables to roast.

After the meal it was time to open the malt, BenRiach a peaty Speyside variety.
