Ring of Red

Organised ride-out..... idea was to create the biggest Poppy in the world by having a complete ring of motorbikes (riders dressed in red) around the M25 (and the M60 oop north..).

I wanted to "do" something rather that just be a spectator at a memorial event..

Several groups took off at different service stations around the M25 ring - hopefully to join up...

Red tops were preferred, and T shirts were available...

Excellent turnout...police stopped traffic at exit roundabout, people were waving from overhead bridges and the Dartford toll was free...!

M25 is around 117 miles long, so not sure if complete "link-up" was acheived but thousands took part... I think the M60 is just over 30 miles around so easier to achieve..
