Light Through The Grass

I was walking the dog in the woods, it was a beautiful morning and the mist was clearing leaving water droplets on the grass that glistened like tiny jewels. I tried taking a picture from above the grass but it didn't somehow do justice to what I saw. I put the camera down into the grass being careful as my camera is not weather sealed! The light was great from this low vantage point. I love taking pictures into the sun so that I can see the light through the objects I'm photographing, this has always fascinated me. The translucency of the grass and the beads of water captured my imagination and hopefully convey some of the wonder of this simple scene.
