Free as a Bird

The light had almost gone by the time I got to the lake this afternoon. Luckily someone was feeding the ducks and a few Seagulls were flying around trying to snatch some bread, so I quickly took a succession of photographs and this one was the best of the lot. It isn't the sharpest picture by any means as I did have to increase the settings somewhat, but I liked how his wing and tail feathers are emphasised against the sky. I'll have to leave home earlier in the mornings and try to get a blip in the bag before work, if I can bear to leave my bed any earlier that is.
