THE SCALE OF THE PROBLEM

I've just had my piano lesson where I couldn't disguise the fact that I have done zero practice since last time and my teacher resorted to violence and sarcasm (well, she poked my wrist to demonstrate a point, and she is a very good friend of mine after all). How I wish I'd learned music when I was a youngster.
I've realised that as well as normal work, I've got a big backlog of things I've taken on and haven't finished yet, which when combined with my natural tendency to procrastinate is not a good thing. So I'm going to switch off comments for a while, blip and run and keep a low profile until I've caught up a bit.
