SERIOUS MOUSE

This is my lovely cousin Mary known to everyone as Mouse.

Mouse workaholics as Jane Goodall's PA. Means she spends much of her life travelling. This weekend found her in Brussels for a meeting of all the European branches of the Jane Goodall Institute.

This is lucky for me because it meant I could offer bed & board to the one who has the house in Stromness (Orkney). Bless her, she came bearing oat cakes and a bottle of "The Naked Grouse" - a seriously good blended whisky from the Highland Park distillery!

We reminisced about family & grumped about world politics - as one does - & thoroughly enjoyed each other's company...
