Kiwi's

Was a really cool day out at the beach. Caught some OK waves..Still waiting for an epic NZ surf day..hope it comes soon.

Surfing and this foto were from yesterday.

Today me and a bunch of friends went tubing down the really cold crystal clear river. My theory of Kiwi's being crazy and not caring for personal safety has yet more solid proof after today.

We spent over an hour in water around 10 degrees celsius. By the end I couldn't feel my limbs (maybe im just getting soft down here). Along with the cold water came rapids and rocks, a few little water falls, and some close exits before more serious falls... We had to do a bit of a mid river rescue with me stretching my body across the river while hanging onto a tree so that the girl caught on the other side could grab onto my legs to get across (wasn't as serious as it sounds mom haha). After the day was done there were a lot of bruises, but Sooo much fun. can't get enough of the Kiwi good times.

Maybe its just the friends I've made that are nuts..I dunno..If there are any Kiwi's reading this, your input would be helpful. Im loving your country.
