Canada - Montréal

Spending the whole day with the boy in Montréal.
A city of contradiction. And not all that interesting.
We spent one day there, which was enough.

We did half a tour, and stopped since we didn't like the whole scenery.
So we took the subway to the old city centre.
Where we visited a beautiful museum about the history of Montréal.
It was on old fundaments and they depicted all kinds of historical details. It was a really nice way of learning more about the Canadian history and especially that of Montréal, which was torn between the English and the French and later on the American.

After the museum we went back to the Notre Dame Cathedral. We were there before, but we could not go in.. because of an Canadian International Organ Competition. We were not allowed to visit the cathedral. But.. when we came back, my boy told the people outside that we would love to listen to the organ music. This was no problem and they let us in almost immediately.
So we enjoyed three musical preformances. After that they all took a break, so we even got a chance to walk around the cathedral before leaving Montréal again.
