Harray Loch

Was over in Stromness for a meeting this morning. Good meeting and good catch up over a coffee with another client.

On the way back I just had to stop at Harray Loch and admire the reflections. On a day like this in Orkney it's always very clear that we live on a thin slither of land between the sea and the sky.

What was stranger was that I was walking about in shirt sleeves and feeling the warmth of the sun on my back. There wasn't even enough breeze to rustle the grass but if you looked down into the shadows around the edge of the loch there was a fairly heavy frost on the plants hiding in the corners.
