Modern "Raj" at sunrise!

The first tourists aboard the elephants this morning saw us out on the river by 6:45. Yes there were crocodiles floating by, a multitude of different birds to see and the silence between sightings. The day was not relaxing, 2 hours walking through the jungle, visiting the elephant breeding station, lunch. This photo belies the comfort of an elephant ride, after 2 hours of yawing and rolling through the jungle this afternoon, trying to protect myself and camera, I could hardly stand up never mind sit back down!
