It's really not that hard. Why do printers hate us so much?

I've tried by USB. I've tried by WPS. In fact I've tried by WPS via the router, via the router page, by PIN, by push, via the printer. I've tried logging into the printer. I've tried the 2.6 and the 5ghz networks.

But it's having none of it.

Looks like I'll just stick with the USB cable after all.
