Girl Power

Recently, I ordered quite a few books off of Amazon; two of them being Amy Poehlers and Mindy Kaling's recent books. They were both hilarious, insightful, entertaining and warm. What I'd give to be friends with these funny, talented women. *sigh*

Both women needed, and tushes, a lot of guts to embark on their careers, and share stories of their early beginnings. I like to think that my moving to England at 18 for university took a lot of guts and my move to Dublin in a few months will require some more. Lately, I've been so incredibly bored and unsatisfied living at home and working in a part-time job that does not stimulate me whatsoever. This apathetic, listless attitude has started to even seep into my view about the move, which worries me slightly. So I'm glad to have read books about other women doing brave things in order to do great, exciting things.

It reassures me my time will come soon enough.
