Sangre de Cristo

The view south from Hermit pass road west of Westcliff, Colo toward the Sangre de Cristo Range. Yucca glauca thrives here at 8,300 feet above sea level. Yucca glauca is the "hardiest" yucca and grows from the Southern Plains of the US into Alberta Canada.
