Poppy Red

For the last few days there have been parts of town have been lit red. A lot of the buildings now have a selection of colours to light up with throughout the year, and some change every few minutes.

This is part of the Scott Monument, which has been lit up poppy red, not an easy colour I find to capture. The Memorial Poppy Garden is around the Monument.

It is Remembrance Sunday, but I didn't manage to go to the local service this year.
