Boys = early start.

We were off into Leith for essential supplies for the night's dinner.

Lamb / pepper / red onion skewers in a mint / chilli / honey / coriander /soy sauce marinade
Chicken breasts in a blackberry sauce with pak choy and sautéed new potatoes
Strawberry and chocolate meringue roulade.

Stopped to look at the Brandenburg moored at the OT; then repatriated the boys and went home to sleep, prepare, tidy. Oh and sleep, too (Pt 2).

Guests arrived at 6, was a stupendous evening; food all worked, lots of good chat and I mucked about with G in between times.
