Horse head

These horse heads stand atop 4 feet (1 1/4 meters) black iron poles and run down the sidewalk in front of my house. There are other blocks lined with them as well.

The intent, I believe, is to keep people from parking on the sidewalk, but if you had a horse I guess you could tie it to it as well.
