Spyro Gyra

An old friend came through town tonight - his band was playing at a local Jazz Festival. We met up with Scott briefly before the show, then enjoyed a great performance, and went out to dinner with him and the rest of the band afterwards. It was a nice little taste of home.

There's been a lot going on in my life the last month. I've had quite a few visitors, adopted a dog, spent a week on business in Florida, and have been coping with some significant family struggles...hence I've gone blip quiet for a spell. Soon I'd like to try to catch up and share some of the bright moments. It's good to highlight the positive - I find it can provide strength and hope during dark times.
