Remembrance Sunday

not what I had planned - I was hoping to grab the poppies pouring down Big Ben but I didn't have a big tripod and there was far too many people around. So you have a Red Eye.

Sadly my "best" eye shots was when the buildings were blue so I've posted this instead. Actually much as I love my baby Manfrotto it was balanced a bit precariously when there was so many people banging into me (I also had the strap securely round my wrist and was taking shots with my heart in my mouth).

Today I was at Kew for a Self defence 5 hour workshop it was fun and I know I've come away with a few pointers - its been 3 years since I last did one so it was good to brush up on skills (well in my case very minor skills!!!) I hoop I will never need to use.
