As I mentioned today is my birthday and one of the presents was a very fine single malt whisky - Benriach Solstice 17yrs old. Thank you girls.

A busy day with the lodge to prepare and hospital visiting so little or no chance to blip anything else. The again why would anyone consider blipping anything else!

For anyone interested in single malts who hasn't come across this one it is from Speyside. The distillery malts its own barley and this is heavily peated. The whisky is matured in ex-bourbon barrels before spending sometime in aged tawny port barrels.
