Berlin, 25 years ago this week.

That's me (the skinny one in the green jacket) at the wall just outside Hansa Studio on the night of the 6th November 1989.
Weirdly, now that I Blip, I hardly ever used to carry a camera back when I hung out with bands for a living. But I had one with me the week I was in Berlin with Goodbye Mr Mackenzie. They were recording at Hansa Studio. I thought being in the studio where Heroes was recorded was going to be the big story that week.
And with my keen journalistic sense I left Berlin to come home to Edinburgh on the 7th of November 1989.
