Domestic Installation Workshop – Day 5

Today was the last day of this practical course which meant exam time. So today’s task was to correctly wire and ring circuit with a single unfused spur and a lighting circuit (two way switches controlling two lights that come on and off together). Once built, test it, fill in the paperwork and then finally do a switch-on test. After completing I was allowed to keep the light bulbs for just long enough to get today’s Blip before stripping it all down again.
Brilliant week, loads of fun and most importantly I passed my exam. My next course is in a few weeks time, can’t wait!
