Remembrance Sunday

Remembering those who died in all of the wars.

The numbers of those who lost their lives around the world- not just on the front lines, leaves me speechless. I remember visiting the museum in Ypres and feeling that surely after all that we must have learnt and moved on. Yet as you leave the museum there are banners commemorating the wars that have taken place since that first world war.....they fill a hall.

And still mankind has not learnt, and still man finds yet more ways to kill and destroy fellow man. Words fail me.
