As The Sun Goes Down
TT is on the mend thank goodness. Fingers crossed that BB and I don’t go down with it next.
BB took part in the local Remembrance Day parade with Cubs this morning. It was dry and bright-ish and there was a very good turnout from the Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Venture Scouts. They paraded through town to the church and war memorial and then back after the church service. He said he liked it when the poppies came “ down from the sky.”
After lunch we headed out so TT could get a bit of fresh air. We went to one of my favourite places which I realise that I have never blipped as we haven’t been for such a long time. We have tried to go a couple of times over the past year, but we have turned away and gone elsewhere as there was no place to park – the downside of being a very popular place. BB was there recently with school and he took on the role of our walk leader. He took us a bit off piste, but we got to somewhere familiar eventually - he told us that they had got lost when they went with school! After our walk through the woods, we were at the shore and walked round the coast. It was a beautiful sunny and still afternoon. We then drove round the coast a bit further and we stopped so I could take a few sunset snaps.
Can’t believe it is Sunday night already – the weekend has been too short.
Had a bliptastic day – so much to choose from. Here’s the sunset near Belhaven - probably better large (so you can spot the ducks!).
As the sun goes down we will remember them.
