Iris

We walked up to the allotment this afternoon, and spied a couple of these irises in bloom. Lovely :)
I spread some of our compost over a couple of the beds, then M cut some forsythia twigs and we went down to present them to our pal Syuzen and Big Stan. A fine meal, followed by a board game (Stanny-boy lasted about three turns, then went off to play computer games).
Left fairly early, as we were quite tired after much walking and shovelling compost.
Still, a fine Saturday, about to be rounded off with a good luxurious soak in the bath :)

Had to tweak the colours in this a bit; the original out of the camera was much more blue. I still haven't got it quite correct, but this will have to do...
