Sunshine and showers

November Theme Challenge Day 9 : Sunday Seasons - an image related to the current season

The morning took a different turn than normal. The woofers still bustled about as my beautiful fiancée and I had breakfast, demanding a wander. Soon enough HV was heading off to work and I was piling the dogs in the van and heading through to my Mum's. There was a pile of gravel to be moved in the garden and as the dogs galloped around in the garden, I shovelled and wheelbarrowed.
Afterwards I headed to the shore with Taliscularis the Huge, Sigyn the Inquisitive and Evie the Wonderdog in the front of the van with me. Evie is a bit odd and doesn't like sitting next to other dogs, so we drove to the shore to the sound of growls and snarls from Evie because Sigyn was touching her. We got out of the van in drizzly rain which seemed to come and go as we wandered along the shore. Despite the weather it was lovely to be next to the shore again. The sound of the waves coming in and dragging the pebbles back with them is one of my favourite sounds.
The shore, and most of Orkney, doesn't change much as the seasons pass. The weather is more of an indicator. Today's low cloud on Hoy and sunshine in the distance was pretty typical of autumnal weather.
