A life lived backwards

By GailyWhaley

I didn't remember to buy a poppy this year, but yesterday at the supermarket, I paid a lovely young cadet to pack my bags.
Even though he squashed my croissants I thought I'd see if I could see the cadets in Old Eldon Square. I figured I could see the ceremony from Blackett Bridge. A mistake as I had to squint through a hoarding.
I did however walk up Northumberland Street and squeezed past the crowds outside Fenwicks.

This seagull had the best view.

Cakes in the oven. Bowl licked. Brandy to inhale.
