Stoneybrook Pool

An early morning trip to Cannock Chase looked like offering up some good opportunities with mist eddying around as I drove north.

I took photos in various areas, moving from blue to gold in colour range as the morning progressed. I've put a few other shots onto Flickr, if you are interested. One of the main reasons was to head for Stoneybrook Pool, which was the scene of perhaps my favourite image from the Chase. Conditions didn't initially look the same but when I finally walked to the pool I was again met by this lovely light.
