Another Day

Somewhere near Barkisland

I forgot to say what a dreadful journey we had up to Yorkshire yesterday, it seemed to take forever and it rained nearly all the way.

Today is glorious and we set from Stainland and headed goodness knows where but after an hour and a half we found a pub called The Fleece where we stopped for coffee, or hot chocolate in my case. It was on one of the Tour routes because the roads were still covered in fading words and drawings of bikes.

I stopped off on route for a comfort break down a little country lane and was in mid flow when two mountain bikers appeared round the corner in front of me. I think I managed to retain my dignity but can't ever remember holding a conversation whilst pulling my trousers up and generally returning my clothing to something resembling normal. Funnily, I wasn't in the least bit embarrassed and the Yorkshire humour sprung to the fore. I don't think they were Blippers because they did say they hadn't brought cameras. I was rather dreading one of them being Earthdreamer as I know it's his territory.
