charity

My Rotary club's curry & comedy evening. A fundraiser for local charities (plus loose change at the bar for End Polio Now).

It went very well. All the tickets sold - 110 at £18 each. £250 scooped up in the raffle too. I'll be interested to find out the "net".

The curry was possibly the worst thing I've eaten in a long time. The comedy was much better, although a little too rude for some of the more sedate in the audience. A few at my table were trying to pretend they don't know what a b**w job is. Well, the wives were there...

Not a traditional Rotarian activity, I suppose.

The Blip is Liam who was the compère. He did well to get the audience warmed up.
