Exodus

Cold, miserable and very windy (the weather, that is). Whitecaps on the bird bath. Went shopping in St Croix this afternoon, mainly for food, now we are all set to throw a dinner party tomorrow night (think pork tenderloin, roasted cauliflower, apple pie, red wine.)

Saw three enormous flocks of geese on the way home, of which these are but a few. Where are they going? Somewhere warmer than here, I bet!

P.S. 10 o'clock at night and it's snowing. I thought it wasn't due until Monday
