Mom's Apple Pie!

Laura, Anna and I took a trip today to visit my parents. There was a strong, cold wind blowing at us as we walked up from the garage. But when we walked into the house we were greeted with the warm scent of freshly baked apple pie!

We had a great day. Watched the Minnesota Gophers slaughter Iowa in football. Laura told her Grandma and Grandpa about her recent trip to Sweden and then looked at picture from their trip almost 15 years ago. Enjoyed a wonderful roast beef dinner (my favorite). After that was cleaned up we played some cards and then had this fantastic pie before heading for home.

This photo doesn't do the pie justice, but it smelled divine and tasted like none other!
